Hi ,
I am planning to apply for HSMP.

I have a 4 year BE degree from Andra University , India.

I applied for NARIC comparison.

Do I have to wait for NARIC letter for applying HSMP.

I read in this forum that no need of waiting for NARIC letter as most of Indian degrees are approved as graduate level by NARIC.

Can somebody confirm this , so that I can go ahead with my HSMP application?

Well man no need for NARIC comparison. If your university is a recognized university then u dont need to worry about it.

Well i guess it is not mandatory..Still u get 100% sure shot points with that...

But it takes 1 month + time to get NARIC certificate...

Si i suggest not to waste time in that...HSMP people themseleves check with NARIC...

Yeah Indian degrees r often at par with UK degrees...

Hi Chakritsus,

I am also in the same boat....
I hold four year B.E. degree.
My comparison is done, and awaiting the letter, but dont know, whether I will get letter this year or the next year?
I am also planninng to apply without the NARIC letter.
The telephonic enquiry confimred my evaulation is positive; so most likely I will go ahead without the NARIC letter, state the same in the cover letter, and I will send this letter as soon as I get it.

Bro, when i m saying u questioned...I said u convinced them coz NARIC email reply was not showing any result to u...Even u called them...So now u have got the result..I posted that stuff....

FYI. Under older rule I got 15 points for my 4 year degree from SV University without NARIC cert.

I graduated from vishveshvariah technalogical university(VTU) Belgaum
is this equavalent to uk study?.can any one tell me,do i need to apply for narric assesment.. :D :) :o
