Has any of you guys who were afftected by the IT issues and applied for a refund for the extra amount paid for the premium service managed to haul anything back from UKBA?

How would you go about applying for a refund? I assume you'd do it after you get your approval & biometrics card, is that right?

few people have sent letters and others have tried with thier credit card companies. Yes, you chase it after the approval.

You can try but the chances of getting a refund are about as slim as us having decent summer weather this year

We wrote a letter of complaint requesting the difference between the two fees and their reply was simply "you still got it quicker than if you'd applied by post"
