ILR approved but still no BRP invitation letter

I have applied for my ILR (postal) last week of January 2012, and finally got my passport back middle of May. It was a vignette on my passport. i didnt think of the BRP cos i never got the invitation and let myself to believe that maybe my biometric during my FLR will be used for the new BRP.

I am panicking now cos everyone i know has the BRP. I tried ringing the home office but i couldnt get through.

What do i do?

Biometric residence permits for all the categories was introduced only after 29th Feb. You applied before then. The vignette on your passport is all you need.

so, i will alright with just the stamp then? i had a BRP for my FLR (M) before, this is why im panicking.

BRP's were introduced in stages. FLRM applicants have been required to have BRP for quite some time. This was not the case with ILR. So, in the past if someone was already in UK on some other kind of visa, and then got FLRM, they would move to BRP. Then when they applied to ILR, BRP was not issued, just the vignette. This happened in your case. The vignette that you have in your passport is all that you need.
