Hi Hasan,
As Salam-o-Alaikum,

Points claimed - 80:

Education - M.Sc. = 35 (but I am sure that they will give me 30)
Earning = 45 (Country Code=D, Band=7500+)
IELTS = requirement met (Band 7 - General Training)

My HSMP Checklist (All original except Onada printout)

1. Cover letter
2. HSMP Form
3. Master of Science (Economics) - Degree
4. Master of Science (Economics) - Marksheet
5. Bachelor of Science (Honour) - Degree
6. Bachelor of Science (Honour) - Marksheet
7. Income Tax Return Certificate - R3 Form

9. Salary Certificate - Tax + 12 months salary
10. Onada website printout of Nov 30, 2006 (end date of earning period)

I bundled all documents (as per check list) with a paper clip and put them into a TNT courier hard paper envelope. Recited Ayatal-Kursi and forget what I sent. I tried my best baqi Allah malik hai.

Post by crazyjack » Wed Dec 20, 2006 9:19 am

Hi All,

I have sent my application on 13th Dec
Reached HO on 18th Dec
So far I haven't received reference number and even the fees amount has also not deducted from my Credit Card.

I have seen comments from different people that the application fee is deducted on the same day application is received.

If anybody has faced similar problem, before please guide me how to follow up this. Do send me some contact numbers or mail id whom I can ask the progess about my case.

Regards
Jack

I guess u are an incountry applicant. I am too an incountry applicant. I was told by someone that he got a rejection because of not submitting income tax returns. However in UK we dont get income tax return. Is only submitting P60 , pay slips enough? How many months bank statements do we have to send i that case. Also did you have your payslips signed and stamped by your employee. Please could you let me know.

yes in-country, i sent a letter from my employer saying how much i made in the past year, 12 months worth of pay slips (originals, they were not signed or stamped) and 12 months worth of bank statements (with salary cheque going in) also attached the p60 and explained that i did not have an income tax return because i was never asked to do so and my p60 does not cover the period i'm claiming for... hope that helps mate.

Hi Pam Aujla,

Thanks for your suggestion.

I had written a mail to wpcustomers@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and waiting for their reply.

I have enquired with my CC Bank, they said that the card has been swiped but merchant verification has not done and it will be done by 21st Dec. The card was swiped on 19th Dec.

Hope after payment is release HO will send the reference number, as they have mentioned in FAQs.

Please keep updating bout your status, I will also share my status as well.

Best of luck
Jack

I am having the firm through which I am applying for my HSMP submit my application TODAY. It should reach the HO tomorrow (and therefor on "Received" status). They will hopefully start processing the cheque on the 28th or the 29th. I doubt I'll get a reference number till January, but I'm happy so long as they RECEIVED the application in December, as there might be a recalculation in order if they only received it in January.

My Points are:

Education - 35 (MBA)
  • Original degree certificate
Earnings - 25 (Consider 10 months spent in US, 8 mo working + 2 mo vacation, per item 38 on HSMP Guidance)
  • 7 months of original payslips (8th month's payslips lost in transit)
Print outs of 8th month's payslips, signed & stamped by company
Letter confirming my total salary for the 8 month period, signed & stamped by company
    W-2 for 2005
Bank Statements on Bank Letterhead + Bank Manager's signature
Notarised copy of passport to show my presence in US, and documenting my leave from the US
Age - 20 (I'm 25!)
  • Original birth certificate
    Translation by sworn translator
English Language Ability - OK
  • Original BS degree certificate from Uni in US
Letter from Uni verifying that the degree was conducted in English
Thats the lot!

Wish me luck!

Hi Hasan..i got this reply from my CC company now. Didnt really got it. They have got the payment or not.

If they cant clear the CC payment in one day, then what is the use of paying thru the CC.

I mailed HO on 19th, its 3rd working day, still no reponse yet, lets hope they will reply. I might call them today.

Hi deepak,

Hasan is aware of airmail service. Moreover if he opts for the couier arrangement, he might need to wait for the 28-29th, coz after tomm, HO is on leave till 28th.

Hi
paramjit is right air mail service will take very long time to reach me , possibly more than a month. Also its not secure ,not trackable. Well i can spend some bucks for courier for safe delivery of my original docs. Mail system in Saudia is not so good , i can't trust atleast on Saudi Postal system.
So let see when they reply my mails and i make final arrangement 4 the courier. Well be carefull for original document return irrespective of the decision result.

Cheers
Hasan

Hi mate , Himate.

Congrats on the approval.. i believe your P60 did not cover full 12 months did it. So when you send in bank statements did u mention this as an exceptional criteria in the earnings related fields in the form or did u simply explain in cover letter... without calling it an exceptional condition.
I know it sounds a question of technicality but please tell if possible.
