Settlement visa application from India - 2011

Hey guys. My wifes VISA WAS GRANTED (Yay!!!) yesterday. Came via Bluedart 1pm india time.

Where both so happy. Sorry i didn't post sooner ive just been really busy booking her ticket and getting my room cleaned lol.

Applied: 4th April 2012
Visa Processed: 25th June 2012
BlueDart Delivery: 26th June 2012 (54 Working Days)

Decision: VISA GRANTED!!!!

I joined today. my wife applied at Jalandhar on 24th April and still no news I think it could possibly be well into July before we hear anything as we lost a couple of working days due to the Jubilee.

I look forward to hearing your good news as I will be a couple of weeks behind.

Hi RS_UK,

I applied at VFS Pune- it goes to Mumbai BHC for processing.

I will let you know as soon as I get to hear anything from them.

now my husband is in london. he is a british citizen.. we r newly married couple ... i am not able to live away from my husband.
3months and 6 days are over no reply from vfs...
Do any one know the processing time for uk settlement visa in india 2012?

Woah that is long - Have you tried to contact them- they have been taking long lately- around 52-60 days but since your over 60 working days you are entitled to make some enquiries. You should give them an e-mail/ call them but they may just reply with the standard answer it can take upto 24 weeks but it is worth a shot.
I think you should hear something soon hopefully.

No .... Still waiting for the email Reply fromVFS .

I was suggested to mail to BHC to chennai.visaenquiry@fco.gov.uk
around Monday ( 3 months and 2 days over and 63 working days completed)

I dont know if the suggestion is right.
I hope we get ours done by then

in june 1st week enquiry to my hubby & hubby employer....but no reply from vfs

in july 1st week enquiry to my hubby employer..... but no reply from vfs... i am very sad now
