Confused about what salary should be..

I live in the UK, was born here have a british passport.
My husband is in Pakistan, i married him last year.
I'm currently pregnant, due to give birth in the next 5 weeks.
What i want to ask is after 9th July according to the new rules would my salary have to be £18,600 or £22,400?
Everywhere i read it says 'additional gross annual income of
£3,800 will be required for the first child sponsored in addition to the partner'
What does this mean because im not sponsoring a child, im only sponsoring my husband. I'm really confused by this :S
