Hi dear!

Congrats on receiving your ILR.

Please tell us, what route did you take throughout the 10 years and when was your ILR stamped? Your ILR process took exactly 19 weeks.

Thanks

Any particular reason for some people posting in the topic to shout, repeatedly?
Please refrain from the habit.

The service standard for settlement (ILR) applications is given here.

Though it is not clear in the article, the settlement applications referred to in the article are "leave to remain applications under the family route (e.g. - FLR(M)" and "settlement visa applications submitted abroad", for which the service standard is 100% in 24 weeks. Also note the reference to "global" customer service standard - ILR applications cannot be made outside the UK.

The article is poorly drafted.

Hi all,
if you've received your ILR recently, please update the spreadsheet so that all those who are waiting can follow the trend..

Duzir wrote:Hi All,

I've been a silent follower of this forum for some time and found the statistics it provides on waiting times very useful and reassuring. I thought I'd now throw my timeline into the ring:

Application date: 23-April-2012
Acknowledgement letter date: 30-April-2012
Fee taken on 1-May-2012

Still waiting for the biometric letter...

My case is relatively straightforward: 8yrs student + 4yrs WP however could not apply earlier due to total absences from the UK being over 540 days. I don't have original passports covering first four years as the issuing government used to confiscate old passports when issuing new ones. I'm applying through a lawyer. Documents submitted: passport + copies, LIUK, letters from school / uni / employer, bank statements, council tax letters, GP letters.

Best of luck everybody!

Hello,

i am quite interested in your case since you mentioned a total of 12yrs in the UK but you are only just applying now for 10years ILR as you had previously gone above 540days outside the UK. I also find myself in the same situation whereby i would have qualified for 10yrs ILR in Sept. 2011 but I have not applied as I have clocked up over 540 days outside the UK in the 10yrs period. Can you please provide me some information on the lawyer which you have used so I can also discuss my case and see if there is a chance to make an application.

Thank you and regards

Waiting times ILR 10 yrs

Post by Chemu » Sat Jun 30, 2012 11:41 am

I have looked at the spread sheet update. In my case I was initially on 2 years holiday working visa, 5.8 years student, 2 years psw and I year student visa. I had no choice but to apply for a student visa as I was two month short to 10 years. There were no issues, and renewed on time and within travel limit.
