Does anyone know which applications the UKBA is processing now? Have they started processing applications who submitted biometrics in April?
Now that you have given your biometrics, I guess you should expect your application to be considered with 4 weeks. It states that on the ukba website, which was updated this Monday.

This would be the best case scenario. We all know the worst case.

@ Shreyasx01 - People who applied psw by 1st week feb 2012 and gave bio metric in april are waiting and did not get visa. (What's this f.ucking 4 weeks calculation rule)..

How come they'll give Visa to some one who gave bio metric on 26th Jun 2012 before the backlog applications.

Then what is the reason for ppl who're waiting for ages .. ?

You seem to have misunderstood my question. Ofcourse I know that it will take me ages to get my visa, maybe even September or October. I had just asked which applications the UKBA are processing now so that I can get an idea of when I can get mine. Thanks for your replies though.

1st application:

Application sent: 27th January 2012
Acknowledgement received: 6th February 2012 (dated 1st February 2012)
"Your application is invalid" letter: 21st February 2012 (dated 15th February 2012)

(My application was deemed invalid because the payment could not be processed - debit card. By the time I received the letter, my student visa had already run out. Sent my second [out-of-time] application together with a covering letter explaining the circumstances)

2nd application:

Application sent: 22nd February 2012
Acknowledgement received: 6th March 2012 (dated 2nd March 2012)
Bio letter: 27th March 2012 (dated 24th March 2012)
Bio submitted: 28th March 2012 (High Holborn Post Office)
BRP: 29th June 2012 (dated 27th June 2012)
Docs: Waiting

No, I didn't. So the documents & passport most probably will take several more days to arrive.

After waiting for 5 months, finally I have received my BRP and documents...

Here is my timeline:
Application sent: 20 January
Acknowledgement letter dated 25th Jan.
Biometrics letter dated 28th Feb
Bio. given: 3rd March
BRP and documents received: 28th June, dated 25th June.

bio invitation letter received 23 march
bio registered 28 march (old street london)
documents , are on their way as i send special delivery envelope
brp card , waiting

@Kumarpsw - How to track the royail mail parcel. tracking@securemail.co.uk is for DX courier (BRP card). what is the email for Royal mail (parcel- docs +passport) ..?

Guys a miracle has happened, I have received my PSW visa approval letter today!!!

They tried to deliver the BRP card yesterday but I was at work. It is really crazy what has happened!!
I had just given my biometrics on Tuesday!! Below is my timeline!

Application Sent: 31st March 2012
Ack Received: 28th April 2012 (Dated 25th April 2012)
Bio Letter: 25th June 2012 (Dated 22nd June 2012)
Bio Submitted: 26th June 2012
BRP: Tried to deliver on 29th June 2012, redelivery on 3rd July 2012
Docs: 30th June 2012

So happy now!! Wish you guys all the best!! Its really a miracle!! God is great!!

kul_06 - Area doesn't really matter. What matters is your luck and the person who deals with your Case file (Case workers ability). Don't get carried away in false assumption or hope.

If I pay by postal order then there is no chance that the payment will be rejected right???

I applied 3rd April, Acknowledgment received on 6th May, and NOTHING since then!!!! Waiting for the biometric letter! I am starting to freak out that the payment may have been rejected!
