Hi Harpreet,
Firstly congrats that you wait has ended and i hope its a visa

the status changes to that once your application has been processed and results are posted back to the VFS center you applied from in your case it will be in Jalandhar. If you did not opt for the courier to your home then you will have to go and collect your passport once your status changes to Ready for collection.

Hi everyone. My wife arrived today at London Heathrow. Just got back to birmingham now. All is well. Where both happy.

The thing that i have noticed over the past week is everyone who has applied to Delhi BHC has been hearing about their visas while people who had their applications on Mumbai and Chennai BHC are still awaiting decisions from the last week of march. This is really concerning, Hope the coming week is Chennai and mumbai's turn to roll out the applications.!!

The Wait of 3 months is over ..

Ant06 i suggest u can mail them as in the website its put that for settlement visas if they have not published any new story until 3 months then we could ask them.

my wife applied from dhaka vfs on 27th march 2012. still waiting. do you know if the visas are processed locally in the british high commission or are they sent to the UK for processing? this wait is really straining....

Hi all i had a call from bhc this morning and she asked me that where is my wife. They want to interview us. I told them she is n UK. And she said that she ll call back within couple of days with interview date. She said eco want to interview both of us. But my wife doesntt have more holidays.she can't attend. If she not attend interview would this make any type of problem for us? Thanks
