The UKBA website has still not updated the Visa processing time for the month of May.

Looks like they really have bad numbers to show for May.

Yes unfortunately that seems to be the most common reply anyway, so i'm not sure if it will help as the number for VFS states they can't tell you about the progress of the application but maybe you can ask how long it is taking on average for the centre you applied for (Chennai) :(

Yes i did that and they replied 61 working days for Chennai.

The time zone was over with last thursday and now the 90 days is also over. I called the VFS today and they asked me to send a mail to BHC.

They also added that there can be chances that the application might be in transit , thats why they have not replied. I am unsure whether i can rely on the answer.

Moreover this wait is making me so sick that my BRAINS are not working!!!

I am just worried that after waiting so long the visas should not get rejected ...
I have an 8 month old daughter and i cant just accept the fact that her father cant watch her doing all the pranks just because of the visa.....

If she not attend interview would this make any type of problem for us? Thanks
An interview in my opinion is a good thing. From what I have a seen and heard on this forum and outside this forum usually they just call the applicant "NOT THE SPONSOR" so maybe this person got it wrong. I would just wait till they call you to arrange the appointment and ask again.

M1234 was called for an interview and the sponsor did not go, and they got the VISA, if all your stuff is honest and truthfull you have nothing to worry about in my opinion and like I said I think it is a good thing they have called you for an interview.

Keep us posted let us know when your interview is.... If you do not hear tomorrow or next day you can always call the BHC your self.

Dear all,

Follow to my wifes recent post.

Applied 13/04/12
Refused 02/06/12

From what I can gather from info from my wife and agent, visa has been refused with either or both of the following reasons. Not 100% sure yet.

Reason: english requirement not met or original document not supplied relating to proof meeting english requirement.

My wife sat;
International ESOL (listening, reading, writing) listening pass,reading pass,writing fail.
International Spoken ESOL (speaking).Pass

UKBA website states to show you meet enlglish requirement you must supply;
(3)
ISESOL Certificate
Plus
IESOL Notification of candidate results sheet.

This is stated on page 12 of UKBA approved language tests.

Both documents were supplied and I'm sure we meet the reqiurements. Or not?

My question are?

What is the appeal process?
How long does it take-best case scenario?
Do all appeals need to heard in court?
Can I visit BHC in person rather than going via VFS to discuss this issue?
Any other advise you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

hi harpreet - sorry to read you bad news. if you have satisfied the language requirements then are you sure the docs were originals?

i would say you need to be be 100% sure of th reason for refusal before spending time and money chasing ukba. i wouldnt place too much trust with the agent as they will probably tell you what you want to hear from experience. i would say it would be worth speaking to l.i.s for their view. they charge £25 for 30 mins but worth it to to make sure youre on the right road.

best of luck and i hope you find out the reasons dor refusal asap.
