Hi,

No I did not contact any MP but I had complained about the UKBA's service and sent them reminders about my complaint every two days. I did not get any response from them so I am not sure how effective it was. I already had a BRP card from a previous application that I had made in January at a PEO for extending my student visa. I am not sure if having a BRP already speeds up the process. In the end I have no idea how it came so early, I have a full time job but I am sure my company did not intervene as well. I guess its just down to luck and the grace of God almighty, it is just unbelievable for me, hope your application is processed soon as well! :)

no that is wrong. I had paid my visa fees with those 800 pounds and now I have got my visa. Unless you want to make a fresh application which you can't do right now anyway there is no use to keep those 800 pounds in the account.

waiting still

Post by ashkarzain » Tue Jul 03, 2012 4:27 pm

HI does any one have any Idea about my this query?
I have applied for my visa on February 27th 2012,
the fee were deducted from my bank following a week after the application I received the application after two which was 15th of March and I have done my Biometric on 30th of March now its more than 4months for now I applied still nothing.

I have no any idea about how to get any information about my Application or how to contact where to contact and who is the best suitable person to make a complaint about this.
Please help me with this issue, its frustrating to wait such a long time and I missed lots of opportunities and special moments due to delay of my passport and Visa.

is there any body contact about this any body have any Idea please suggest me.

If you go through the posts on this thread , you will notice that most people on here with similar timelines or some who have applied before you are waiting as well, so you are not alone. Th edelay has been attributed to the occurrence of the Olympics and fact that the PSW route has closed this year which has related to a high number of applications received by the UKBA. Unfortunately there arent many ways (or any in fact!) to find out the statuson your visa. Just be patient and wait, in any which case, applications around the time when you gave biometrics are apparently being considered right now !

I'm sure if people received stuff from UKBA, they will be thrilled enough to come and update it here so a question like this seems pointless to ask doesnt it ?? :P No offence meant, just requesting everyone to keep posts relevant to information and updating timelines!

It might seem pointless to you but I'm sure there are others who are as curious as I am regarding the biometric invitation. :)

Now that the other thread (biometric invitation letter not received) is locked, this is the only place left for us to stay updated.

Finally, it's not costing me anything and I am sure it's not charging you either for posting. However if you find it such a hassle then I would suggest you direct your concerns to the admin because for us this is "relevant information".

I cannot understand why the UKBA are processing things so hideously out of order. I gave my biometrics on 2 April and I have yet to hear anything from the UKBA. Furthermore, many people who gave biometrics in March still haven't received their documents. How is this fair?

Does anyone know a reason for this, or have any advice on what to do?
