Query on ILR & PEO appointment

I am planning to apply for ILR after reading success stories with 3 months exemption period. This is a great informtion sharing and very helpful site, people are really get benefited from this site.

My case is
EC - 31 July 2007
entered UK - 20 Oct 2007.
Tier 1- 29 July 2009 - 29 July 2012.

I have few question
- when am I actually eligible to apply for ILR should I calculate 28 backwards from 29 or 31 July? please could some one specify actual date when i become eligible.
- I have booked an PEO appointment for 5 July but I later read that child born in UK can directly apply for BC when parents have ILR, so I am just thinking to drop off my daughter name from the PEO list but I cant find link to edit these details, also I wanted to double check if i enter the details properly, what do i do, do I have to cancel this and book a new appointment??
- Can you book two appoints with different login, will this be an issue?

Could someone please advise.

1. Read FAQs for ILR - WP/Tier 1/Tier 2/HSMP holders
2. You cannot "edit" a scheduled appointment. Should be okay to not modify the appointment and not take your child / include your child.
3. Yes. No.

1. Could you please let me know my eligibility date, I took 31 July and back date 28 day so i got 4 july, hope this is fine ?
2. So i can't even verify my details? suppose I misspelt my name would this be a problem, I am sure I entered it correct but just want to confirm.

I also have another query relate to MN1 for my daughter do I ask here or create a new topic un BC?

Hi Guys,

I need some more advise.

1)In 5yrs I was out of country for 72 days (vacation) is it compulsory to get a letter from employer or is it OK? because i can get from present employer but not from previous employer(I left the company 2yrs back)

2)I came into the country 82 days after EC so do i need to include this in my absences list?

1. If you wish the absences to be disregarded, then a letter from employer is required. Else, the absences will be included in the 180 days limit.
2. You cannot be absent from UK before having arrived in the UK, so no.

If we get a letter from employer then those days would not be excluded from the 180 limit, I wasn't aware of this , thanks a lot.

yep thats what I thought but wasn't sure,just curious would the CW exclude 82 from 180days limit( taking into account the 3 months exemption )?

I have a query related to Salary

I have done work on weekends for the project and this is shown in the payslip and the complete salary for the month includes the weekend work pay(minus the tax), so would the weekend work earning be cosidered ?? because i was reading chapter 6A (Previous Earnings) which state that

" We will only consider actual earnings. We will never consider earnings claimed on a pro rata basis (for example when the applicant has worked part-time and tries to claim for what he/she might have earned if the work had been full-time)."

So I am bit confused...

In your case, it is "additional" work on weekends and not "worked only on weekends but trying to claim points for income as if worked full-time".

Hi

Just wanted to double check. I have my appointment on 06 july, I have booked for 3 people but would not be including my daughter (as she i sborn in UK). Planning to get her register as BC after reading all the successful post here.

So would this be an issue if i do not include my daughter as the appointment is for 3 people??

simple way to understand is any salary that is taxed regardless of weekend work, xmas day work or midnight work, you can put it down and claim points for it.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just tell the staff that the application is based on 2 people.


I have done the same in the past took my daughter no questions asked.
