Spouse visa for Egyptian wife and 3 childrens

Hello,

My friend has married a lady from Egypt and she has got 3 childrens from previous marriage, therefore, my friend is not the biological father:

My friend has got some questions and he is desperate for a help:

Q1. Can he apply for the spouse visa for his wife and her 3 childrens from UK?

Q2. Will it be acceptable if he rents house for his wife and her 3 childrens? or is it a must to purchase a house in order to apply for spouse visa?

Q3. will it be a problem to bring her 3 childrens? Will he need to do any procedures to bring the childrens, i.e., approval letter from their biological father?

Q4. What is recommended to bring his wife and her 3 childrens?

Your friend only has to rent accommodation, he does not need to buy it. Regarding the children, from what I understand if she can prove she is solely responsible for them and they are under 18, they should be able to get visas as well.

1. Only the wife can apply for spouse visa. The children will need to apply for child visa.
