Tourist Schengen for company visit ?

Hello,

I am a Tier - 2 Visa holder (company sponsored) and have recently been granted a Schengen Visa (by French embassy). I had applied for a Short stay TOURIST Schengen Visa.

2 days before my leisure trip begins, I have an opportunity to travel to Paris for a day from London - leaving in the morning and coming back in the evening. This being an official trip - I wanted to know if I can do this work related day trip on a tourist Schengen visa or not ? I know that French consulate do issue business visa as well but I wanted one for a leisure visit and the business visit just happens to occur 2 days before the leisure one.

My visa details in my passport read the following:



Valid for: ETATS SCHENGEN

From: MM-DD-2012 Until: MM-DD-2012

Type of Visa : C

Number of Entries: MULT

Duration of Stay: 90 DAYS

Issued in : LONDRES

There is nothing written in the remarks field.

Please advise what should I do or who should I contact regarding this query ?
