Urgent request

Post by s_raj11 » Thu Jul 05, 2012 2:16 pm

Hello,

Could some one help me out with correct advice.

I have applied for my ILR under long residence in May. I have my Tier 1 General visa expiring in Aug 2012. The thing wanted to clear is my wife is on a dependent visa and even her visa will be expiring in August. I have just known from someone that if she apply after 9th July with the new rules coming into effect, i need to have salary of £18,600 even for her FLR(M). Is this correct.

She arrived in this country in June 2008 and was dependent from then.

could some body please advice if she applies after July 9th do we need to support with my salary of £18,600.

Please your suggestion is much appreciated.

Regards

Thanks in advance

Your wife can apply for ILR same time as you (as she has been in UK for 2 yrs as your dependant).

The new rules do not apply to you (just make sure you meet the old rules that DO apply to you).
