May be a Points Based ILR Soon ...

Post by manindergill » Thu Dec 21, 2006 8:08 pm

Yesterday, After discussion with my London based Immigration Lawyer friends, they speculated a Points based ILR soon based again on age, education, salary, actual number of UK experience in months/years, partner education + salary (if there), bank money assets / property assets with points based on the amount being shown , the higher the assests, the more the points so as to check the outflow of money from here.

I am not sure how far this is true or materialise, but surely immigration lawyers speculating on this ..., As they are expecting more negatives to come with EU integration and more worker inflow from Europe and Eastern Europe.

However, Nothing Official about this or no statements.

But

Of course, these are attorneys who stand to profit from a nightmare like that.

May be only wishfull thinking on their part.

After what happend in the last few months, Doctors being sent back home, 4 yr ILR to 5, and the horrible change of HSMP rules, I am 200% prepared for the worse, anything is possible with ILR rules in future:-)
