ILR Success @ Croydon

Post by pullikanti » Fri Jul 06, 2012 9:56 am

First of all I would like to Thank the founders and the contributors of this website.
It is very useful in clarifiying many of my queries.

History: HSMP +Teir 1 (General)

Documents:
1) Application form
2) 12 months bank statements and payslips + P60
3) Life in UK pass notification letter of myself and my dependant
4) Previour HSMP approval letter, and UKBA letters issued at the time of Extension as Tier 1 (General)
6) Tenancy agreement
7) Cohabitation documents for last two years.
and Passports and photographs.

Yesterday I attended Croydon PEO. Appointment was at 10:15 AM.
We (myself and my dependant) entered the building at 9:45AM.
First they issued us a ticket and asked to go to the payment counter.
there they checked the payment details page of the application form and payment was made and the payment receipt was given.

Then we were asked to be seated in waiting area. At 10:10AM they called my ticket number at a counter. There they asked for the applciation form and passports. They entered some information (I think personal detials and passports details) and asked us to go for Biometric.
In the Biometric waiting area we waited for nearly 1 hour. At about 11:15AM they called in to record Biometric details.
Again waiting.... at 12:15 they called us to see the case worker. The case worker was a lady. She took the application form, passports and documents.
After all this waiting, to my surprise, my case was decided in 23 minutes and she told that we were approved ILR and that the Biometric card will reach us by post in about 7 working days. They issued a letter saying that the ILR was approved.

I would like to thank you all again for all the support provided.

Hi Pullikanti !!!
Did you use the Self Employment to claim your income ?
Is there a formal interview taking place while the decision is made??

Thanks to all and everyone who can clarify my questions.

Many Congrats, I wish my straitforward case will be smooth like yours next month :)

the letter you were given saying your ILR is approved: Does it state what your Biometric card Number is? or give any info about it?

I will be applying for ILR next month and my partner applying for FLR(M) a few days after at personal appoinment... just wondering if that letter will state my ILR Number info so she will be able to use that if the card itself is not recieved in post in time for her appointment...

btw...did you recieve your card yet?
