There is no information yet whether someone who has taken (passed) the current version of LITUK test will need to take the new version of the test as and when it comes into effect if the settlement / naturalisation application will be submitted after the new version of the test is introduced.

Hence, for now and in absence of any information regarding the issue, it will be safe to assume that someone who has already taken (passed) the current test will not have to write the new test to be eligible for settlement / naturalisation.
