My timeline is as follows:
EEA4 application sent: 29.01.12
COA received 3 weeks later
PR dated 28.06.12, valid until 2022
Passport and all documents received 03.07.12
My application was based on my partner working, studying, job seeking and being self-employed so this may have delayed things...
Good luck to everyone!!

On eea4 PR, does it say Permanent residence on the sticker in the passport or just the expiry date?

I requested passport return on 2dn July and have received yesterday on 7th.
I am going to be back from my trip in the middle of September. I wonder if keeping passport for about 2 months will delay my application (applied in march 20th)...

Regulations says that HO doesn't need your passport to make a decision.
In case it needed ,they will get in touch.
Are you travelling with COA? I am going for family holiday at the beginning of August and worry a bit .Is COA sufficient for UK border? I am not visa national? Cheers

I will have my passport with me toghether with COA. I don't know if it is sufficient, but as I am visa national and my Residency card is expired, I am going to do Family permit in order to come back. A bit stressed about that, but hopefully that will be easy to get.

That's a great time scale. Congratulations! I wish mine was just as fast, but so far been waiting just over 4 months. I wish there was a sure way of speeding them up!
