Hi Pravtech,

Read the HSMP guidance notes agin.
You need to decide for which 12 months you want to consider your income. Let's say from Jan-06 to Dec-06.
For this period provide the salary slip
provide letter from employer
Provide the bank statement to show the income earned.

Read the HSMP guidance notes, and see the application form.
It is not that confusing....

Hi,
Good luck paramijit,

Could you please share the application bundle format. How to arrange the documents and any additional letter we need to support them other than check list documents.

Like arranging documents in File1 and File2 structure.

Thanks,
Raman

raman999,

I'd think that since you already are working in the UK, and you are just changing status, showing proof that you can get a job might be a little redundant. Also, the HSMP visa you got (congrats, btw) should be indicative of your qualifications/abilities, so getting a job shouldn't be an issue for you. But, as we see in some cases, logic seems to escape the grasps of certain visa officers :-P

So, just to be safe, it might be best to have some kind of documentation like you mentioned (maybe your current job description, per your employer, etc).

Read this. http://www.ukworking.com/faqs.asp

From what I grasp, the main concern of the EC officer is that you are able to support yourself while finding a job. I.e.: you have enough funds to support yourself till you get your paycheck, and that you are covered in case you fall ill. Take bank statements consistently showing an excess of a couple grand or so. Since you are already in the UK, you probably have a flat or house, so I'd take along your lease agreement / deeds to prove that you are already established in that regard.

Good luck!

Hi raman99,

Ist stage means, u r applying for HSMP approval not EC. Then u need to show proofs for AGE, EARNING, EDUCATION, ENGLISH only.

Funds, marriage cert, job researches are for EC after HSMP approval.

Hi Freebirds,

Your
1) Payslips for past 12 months
2) Bank statement would suffice the requirement for claiming the points.

I could get the additional documents from my employer, so attaching the same as supplementary evidence.

Hi All,

Do anybody has idea, how long HO office remains close for Christmas.

My application has reached to HO office on 18th Dec. Credit card has been charged on 19th Dec, but I haven't received reference number yet.

I have written an enquiry mail about my reference number but haven't received any response from HO. I afraid if it reamins closed for some more time then application will be piled up and processing will be delayed.

Out-of-country applicant: INDIA

Payment to be made through CC

Academic Qualifications – 30 Points Claimed
1) Original Degree certificate of Bachelor of Engineering
2) Originlal letter of comparsion by the UK NARIC

Previous earnings – salaried employment – 45 Points Claimed
1) Wage slips for past 12 months period.
2) Letter from employer stating my earnings for the past 12 months.

5) copy of TDS certificate for last financial year, which covers the period of 5 months out of total 12 months claimed, as additional evidence.
Although I have claimed the exceptional evidence, for not submitting the ITR.

I believe all the above proofs are sufficient to demonstate the earnings over past 12 months.

3) Original 10th standard (S.S.C.) Pass certificate showing the date of birth

That is all I am sending with my application, besides CV and employement letter etc.

Do I miss anything?
Those who already applied can please share their experience

Thanks,
NNJ10

Hello mate evrything seems fine though i don't think you have put any evidence to suggest proof of exceptional circumstances which in this case would be most recent and fully covering tax return. Perhaps an idea could be to send in a CA letter certifying nature of tax year in India and the inability of anyone in general public to provide the most current IT documents at this pt. of time....

Pravtech... It would be highly beneficial to know. how you managed to extract a letter from Indian IT Department - i assume u are applying from India.,.., Cause thats the most irrefutable proof... And " IT covered till Nov 2006" ... Do u mean u paid advance tax and have the stamped receiving of that ????

Please Share how you have managed getting a response from the Indian Tax Department.....
