I was trying to figure out the answers myself by going through all the posts - and things seem to get more and more confusing. So thought it would be best to start a new thread.
About me:
On Tier 1 PSW - Expires 21st October.
Employer has applied for registration for the frist time 3 weeks ago.
I have been at this company for over 6 months.
SoC is 3421 which is NQF Level 3, apparently. And also way above the minimum salary requirement.
Questions
1. I've read on a few posts around here saying that if i'm switching from another category that I need to be NQF Level 6 or above? How does this affect me since I am NQF Level 3.
2. I have also heard/read somewhere that if I have been working for over 6 months and switching from PSW I can get an unrestricted CoS. Is this still the same?
3. It used to be that I didn't have to show maintenance funds as I was switching from Tier 1 PSW. I remember reading this very well on the UKBA website, even bookmarked it. But now visiting the same link, that information has been taken out. So it means I have to show the £900 funds?
4. Three weeks ago my company sent their first time application for Sponsorship License. (to get into the registry). I just read on this board that it take 3 to 4 months. Will I be cutting it really close or will it help if my company emails to the email addresses given in that post to expedite the process?
I just wish this to be a straightforward application. But never know, better be sure than sorry!
Thanks in advance [/list]
