Switch to Tier 1General Dependant from within UK

Hi All,

My wife is on the Tier 1 General, but sadly will not be able to qualify for an extension as she has only been working for the past 8 months and her earnings don't give her sufficient points.

We have been Married for over two years, and I am currently on my second Tier 1 General extension which ends in 2013.

What are the chances of my wife swithing her visa from Tier 1 General to Dependant of Tier 1 General from within the UK, as I have been unable to find any information on UKBA's website and their call center is not very helpfull.

i think you cannot switch to tier 1 dependent from within uk. see below post for more information:
