uk passport expired

Hi, my wife is due to apply for ilr at peo before 11/8, but just realised my UK passport is expired from April.should I renew my UK passport first or will they accept an expired one? Thanks

Hi

You've to renew your UK PP first UKBA generally dont accept any expired documents.
