If you feel that your payslips are not consistent & contain spelling errors and therefore may pose a problem, why not get a letter with your salary breakdown for the required months from your employer on a company letterhead instead?

Do I have to be employed when i apply for extention? I am asking this because employer is re structuring the whole department so my job is at risk as well to be laid off hour goes down...

As per visa extention point of view please advise
Shall i apply before they make my job redundant?

There is no requirement to be employed at the time you apply for your Tier 1 General visa extension. You will however have to qualify with the required PBS points which includes previous earnings.

as long as your salary statement has employee code, NI payee number, bank account details , they would not check more detailed names. howerver if possible , then you can request for duplicate salary slip with correction to your employeer.
