Process of changing tier2 visa to tier1 visa

Hi,

I'v recently came to UK on tier2 visa general category i would like to know the following.

1) How soon can i apply for tier1 from tier2 visa ?
2) I have 3 dependants here with me in UK what documents will be required?
3) Is there any approval required from my employer for me to convert my visa from tier2 to tier1 ? (my visa is valid for 2015 under tier2 with the same employer)

Appreciate if someone can provide there expertise advice.

You can switch into Tier 1 (Ent) or Tier 1 (Inv) from Tier 2.
