Waiting times through London 2012

hi,
does anyone know if waiting times for all applications have been affected by the London 2012 olympics? i have heard that there is big backlog and the HO have directed all or some applications to a hold off because apparently some millions have applied to see the olympics?

does anyone know any details on this- which applications may be affected if any?

I think the fact the computer systems have been down for two days will cause more of an issue than the olympics
