I hear there is supporsed to be a decision or something on legacy today what is it all about? Anyone with detailed information please or just a simple explanation

It has been dismissed i see it was more about relying on decisions that where positive for others whilst similar ones where against the individual.
More like a near miss if you ask me. so what are the implications of such a judgement for those in the know please advise.
