Status changed to application processed, delivered to bluedart today!! Hopefully will be ready for collection tomorrow as vfs Mumbai no longer send couriers to Navsari so wife will have to go to Surat to collect.
Proper crapping myself n really hope when my wife opens her passport she finds a uk visa!!
Hope it is ready for tomorrow as can't wait till Monday , waited far too long already!!

Dont worry..... I am in the same as you, many people who applied after me also got there VISA before me, there was one lady I knew who had lived in the UK illegaly for 6 years after her student visa expired, got cought and deported and she had applied 10 days after me and got hers ten days before me.

Everyone's case is different. Email me on paras000@hotmail.com and I will send you a list of people and dates they applied and heard back, will give you an idea.

You should defo be able to pick it up today and Surat is so close to Mumbai, I woudl prepare to go pick it up today, it will be for sure ready. Most people I have come across pick up next day.

Congrats though and everything crossed for you. Also if it is with bluedart, they will be open tomorrow as well. They open Monday to Saturday all over India.

Did nt lodge an appeal yet..inshallah nxt week..
Actually coz of lack of knowledge abt supporting documents to b summtd along wit application..i ommitted sum imp documents..preparing evrythn to b best as possible..coz again cnt face brunt of refusal.. still confused abt appeal process cn u please giv me a detailed and clear picture abt it..?

There's no real way of checking. There is a deadline for the ECM to review and respond back by or else it goes to court. The best thing to do as I am going now with my awife's appeal, is sit aptiently and wait. Hopefully they'll respond and overturn before the deadline otherwise you'll be given a court date.

Agreed.

Documents sent are useful, but no two people have the same circumstances, so sometimes it's better to actually put your circumstances in as well, so people get an idea of if you're divorced/widowed or maybe a soldier who was in prison etc etc.

Documents are useful but personal circumstances and how they proved them is even more useful.
