I assume you don't know if ECM has upheld decision or not yet? I believe if they uphold original decision you are supposed to receive a statement advising so.

Thanx skaur for gettin back so quickly..yea i actually did wanna know if the refusal number is the appeal number through which we can track down or call them up at leicester and enquire about anything..and you saying that you submitted you appeal papers on 17th?? have you recieved you acknowledgement letter or something??

havent recieved anything as yet but i think coz my barrister dealing with it i got to go through him technically, however im going to ring leicester today. feels like im ringing vfs again!!!!!!!!!!

hi

i rang the tribunal people today they have advised that they are currently procesing appeals that have been recieved on th 06th july 2012 at present so mine wont week be in on the system till next week. once the payment has cleared and they have it on the system then a notice of appeal gets sent to our representative ie lawyer one to the bhc embassy and one to the applicant it then goes to the ecm for assessment

can say one thing the guys at the tribunl call centre are alot more informative and helpful, unlikje vfs who just palm us off.

the application number isnt the refusal we will get it nce its on the system apparently

My wife applied for settlement visa 4/4/12

Visa Granted - 26/06/12
Entered UK - 29/06/12

My question is regarding ILR. I understand we can only apply for this 28 days before her visa expires? (august 2014)

Will i have to earn a minimum salary of £18,600 and does she have to pass life in the uk aswell as achieve minimum B1 level in english?

If someone could please help.

Passing Life in UK covers english language requirement .. I guess you might need to earn minimum salary for 1 year before the application.

thanks hun were in this together eh. yh i think u should be recieving your notice of appeal il ask lucy when she got hers. i hope the ecm will be a bit more compassionate now. ps why did you appl get refused xx

@skaur,

mine was a straight forward case which they turned into bizzare...

as far as i remember, i recvd the acknowledgement letter with deadline stated after a month at my india address and thn ecm completely ignored our supporting docs bundle and took us to court where she was sorry for actions in frnt of the judge...

@ skaur..

We sure are together hun..praying for both of ours decision to be overturned InshaÁllah..mine got rejected coz my husband was not on job when we applied for our application..but we did show them a bal of 6k in my husbands acct which they chose to ignore stating a question mark on it sayin they dont know if tht money really belongs to him..but soon after we filed my spouse application my husband landed up with a job Alhamdulillah and we did inform them about it by sending them his job contract which again they chose to ignore completely..so now we sent them a job contract along with his salary slips in our appeal..So hoping for the best InshaÁllah..am expecting my husband to call them up today n find out what they say..will inform you abt it accordingly..lets see if we get a slightly diff answer then what you got :P

do the ecm get penalised for ignoring or not responding back. so you had to wait the whole 19 weeks

There are two more people (me and goto_venkat) who still haven't heard back. I called VFS yesterday and they said the current processing time is 67 days. I am on day 59 now! So, I hope they get our done as soon as possible as I cannot take this waiting game anymore!

hi when i applyed origanaally i had wrote i recieve money from my ex for the kids but have now also said my mum also regularly gives me money as she feels she should help me after myself and my ex broke up. y mum is willing to testify in court and prove this as she recieves a private pension from my father and owns her housev and works full time also. do u think the immi judge or ecm will consider my application. the whole appeal is very intimadating.

There are two more people (me and goto_venkat) who still haven't heard back. I called VFS yesterday and they said the current processing time is 67 days. I am on day 59 now! So, I hope they get our done as soon as possible as I cannot take this waiting game anymore!

thanks lucy have been reading your previous posts in regards to the appeal and it is reassuring to say it gives me hope. you had lived with your husband in the uk as said in the previous posts but still they had refused your appl and you still won in the end bcoz u knew u was right. i too believe im right and have just been palmed off
