Requesting your passports back shouldn't affect your application. However if you request your non-eea national passport then RC will be issued on a A4 size letter.

I requested passport because my wife has to travel for work and was lucky enough to get the COA and EEA registration certificate along with it .. I suggest you at least call or email them to send your COA immediately.

goodluck!!

I have called them yesterday and they said that it takes 3 months for COA not 4-6 weeks. Anyone knows email id for enquiring about application and COA ??

By law they should send COA immediately after the receipt of the application and 3 months is not immediate. Email them quoting 17(3) of http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2006 ... on/17/made.

I emailed liverpooleuro.passportreturns@ukba.gsi.gov.uk to request passport

I have sent e-mails, calling and nothing...

I am feeling so bad...

There is anyone in the same case?

Thank you.
I contacted to HO today, finally! After 30 minutes waiting. They asked the Reference number (tracking), then, She have told I may still waiting and she didn´t know about CoA process times but I am in 6 months period. Then, She let me know politely she can´t tell me anything more about the process. Summary: I have to still waiting... even after 10weeks...

I have wrote to LiverpoolEuro.PassportReturns@ukba.gsi.gov.uk again...

Any idea?

Wow we are so happy.
My husbands RC arrived today, in fact it was issued 10th of July, but they sent it to our old adress, so it took some time before we realized it and got hold of the card from the royal mail.

So we have been very lucky, the time line is as follows

EEA1/EEA2 sent HO 2nd of May 2012
Received HO 3rd of May
COA and RC for EEA1 received 2nd of June
RC issued 10th of July received 25th of July

Good luck to all of you, I wish many more applicants could experience the time line we have....

Yesterday i have called again and enquired about COA. She said that case worker did not see my application yet.
I have seen such remarks in forum and people receive RC or COA next day
Lets hope today is the day for me to get COA/RC :):).

Applying EEA2 is just the confirmation of the rights of non-eea national in uk and it is totally optional. Only issue is that EEA national spouse should continuously excercising eu treaty after initial 3 months. I think you should show your employer royal mail receipt and explain that they can call ukba about your right of work. Normally every employer knows how to contact ukba line.
