Success at last after more than a year

First of all thank you to all of the people who helped me. I appreciate all your help . I got my visa finally after a wait of more than 13 months.
Just a background of my case for people who might be interested.
Had applied for Tier 1 extension on 27th MAy 2011 ( yes that's right).
Had a combination of self employed and salaried earnings. Got refused saying they could not verify my earnings from 2 people . Went to appeal. Hired a lawyer ( on hindsight think shoud have done it alone and save some money) , and won the appeal. Got my passport today (at last) and my BRP card should be coming soon.
