TB Vaccination and Chest X-Ray

Post by adityaisukapalli » Mon Jul 30, 2012 10:58 am

Hi all,

My wife will be applying her Tier-1 General Dependent visa in Hyderabad, India in 2 weeks from now. To travel here, do she need to get her TB Vaccination and Chest X-Ray to be done and bring those certificates etc to UK ?

If she need, please advice where can she get ? So that she can do this week

Thanks!!

Only needed Chest X-ray if coming for more than 6 months. Get it from any x-ray center.

Why TB Vaccination? Is she suffering from TB?

The OP may be referring to the following requirement that came into effect earlier this year. While this is not a vaccination requirement, there TB screening is required for applicants from certain countries.

See "Do you need to be screened for tuberculosis (TB)?" for the countries where screening is required...
