I think you should show your employer royal mail receipt and explain that they can call ukba about your right of work. Normally every employer knows how to contact ukba line.
Yes she is excercising treaty rights.

Can you send me any link from uk hoe office site that if EEA national is exercising treaty rights then i have right of work ?

Coz my job is on stake :(

Normally by EU law they supposed to have send it within days, but obviously to them it doesn't work that way.

Guys, as my 6 months was up on the 24th of July, I decided to rand up the HO the next day! Nice lady on the phone and told me that a package was sent to my solicitor on Thursday the 19th of July!
It's Friday and they still haven't receive anything!
Lady told me, they sent it via second class delivery!
I'm stressed out! Is it good news or bad news?! I dunno! It's horrible, i can't even sleep!!! It's on my mind every single min!!!
Apperently when I received my coa with right to work in Feb, people told me it was a gOod thing as I used to be an overstayed + home office were holding my passport!
If I get my passport back, it's gonna be about 4 years since I last had my passport in my hands!!!
I will keep you updated!!!

I have received my RC today. i missed the postman yesterday. its dated July 25. its been 22 weeks since my first application in February and 7 weeks since my second application in June. I applied as an unmarried partner.

I did write a letter 3 weeks ago, requestiong Urgent Priority and outlining where I felt HO has not followed the Directive then i sent an email on Tuesday (July 24) requesting a follow-up of my letter. July 25 my RC was issued and recieved the next day with my SD envelope i origially included.

I cant be sure if it was due to my first app being close to 6 months or my letter sent 3 weeks agao that pushed things along. Maybe i just bothered them to the point they wanted to get rid of me! :)

To all those still waiting, good luck. Your RC will arrive soon

Good news.
What was contents of the returned letter in your first Application? I guess I am asking this question very late, but just to file up.

Hi Zubby,

My first application was returned due to my partner not submitting enough evidence. That is what the letter said at any rate. Everything that the refusal letter stated we should send to support our application was already in our application. Our entire application process was wrought with issues.

I just spoke to someone at the HO but no information was given to me about my husband's application. I sort of expected it because we are still within the 6 months but I thought I'll give it a try. We have 3 more weeks until the 6 months are up.

So i thought until it clocked to 3 months when i gave up on it and instead invested my time on waiting for the RC. It's after 5 months that they finally send me the COA as you can see on my signature. You might be lucky and receive yours in a few weeks but tighten your belt in the case of such a scenario.

Ok, finally I have news about my application (since 11May). I have a communication from Royal Mail few hours ago let me know they went with an Special Delivery packet wich is waiting me tomorrow in the Delivery office. What can I expect? CoA? I don´t think so, because this packet has the prepaid SD item number that I sent with the application. Could be the RC? I don´t know. May be application returned?

What do you think?

(Do you know if) People who has received the CoA, It arrives into the prepaid Special Delivery? If that is so, they send then in second class the RC?

Tomorrow I´ll post what happened with that.

Thank you.

Maybe will see how long this takes. Update if u receive any notification
Yes dont worry I'll post as soon as I get some news. Please do the same =)

No good news. They have returned the application with ALL documents... I have to supply a requirement and re-apply. That is very weird, the reason for return is the EEA passport support was very close to expires, when we have applied the passport was valid. They have review the application after 11 weeks, just when it has expired. This is ONLY a document that prove the relationship. Now, we have to get a new passport (with the time it takes)...plus the time for the CoA....

we received my wife's COA today.

timeline:
04/23/12 submitted eea1 + eea2 applications
05/21/12 eea1 + eea2 appications returned (need more evidence)
05/28/12 re-submitted eea1 + eea2
05/30/12 eea1 + eea2 applications received bij ukba
16/07/12 complained by email about waiting time eea1 (should be ~20 days)
23/07/12 called ukba to ask about application progress
24/07/12 complained by email about phone response (saying "we have 6 months for eea1 response")
27/07/12 coa was issued
01/08/12 coa delivered (by standard mail, simple envelope)

I thought the COA and eea1-RC would come at the same time since we did the eea1 and eea2 applications in the same envelope.
Does anyone know why we did not get the EEA1 Registration Certificate as well?

Congrats. I just received my CoA today in the post too, think I will log my timeline here as well:

EEA2 application sent: 14 Jun 2012
UK Border received: 15 Jun 2012
Sent register letter to chase CoA: 24 Jul 2012
CoA received: 1 Aug 2012 (dated 29 Jul 2012)
RC: ?

I already had a EEA residence card for 5 years, but have to get another one as we moved to US for a year and broke the continuous 5-year residency. And they don't separate "renewal" procedure, so have to repeat this 6-month saga all over again. This time definitely takes way longer for UKBA to produce the CoA (5 years ago, I received the CoA within a week after applied, received RC in 5 months, no chasing needed).

Good luck everyone, hope things speed up after the Olympics.
