application progress

Post by crazyjack » Wed Jan 03, 2007 10:09 am

Hi Pam,

I have called up HO today to know about the progress of my application. After a long ring of 6 minutes luckily I got a chance to speak to one of the executive. One lady picked up the call and she told me that "My application is still under consideration".

How about u ? What is the status of your application? Did you call them up to get the updates ? I think because of holidays my application is getting delayed, as previous members got their approval within a week.

Anyway, lets hope for the best.

PAYMENTS MADE UP TO 28TH DECEMBER 06

Post by AussieDude » Wed Jan 03, 2007 11:33 am

HI GUYS AND GALS,

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HOME OFFICE - BASICALLY, IF THE PAYMENT WAS MADE OFF YOUR CREDIT CARD BEFORE OR ON THE 28TH DECEMBER, THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER. IF THE FUNDS WERE TAKEN OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT FROM 29TH DECEMBER ONWARDS, THEN THE PROCESSING PEOPLE ARE YET TO RECEIVE THE DOCUMENTATION (IE YOUR APPLICATION).

THE KIND GENTLEMAN TOLD ME THAT SOME APPLICATIONS TAKE A DAY OR TWO TO PROCESS, WHILE OTHERS CAN TAKE WEEKS/MONTH.

FINGERS CROSSED AND BEST OF LUCK TO ALL! I LOOK FORWARD TO CATCHING UP WITH EVERYONE IN THE UK FOR A BEER SHORTLY. ALL THE BEST.

Hi all,

My HSMP (in country) application was received by the home office on Dec 18th. I'm applying through an immigration company. I asked this morning whether they had received a reference number for my case and they said that they had but didn't tell me when. Apparantly after the recent changes new applications were being processed very very quickly (in about 5 days). Should I be worried that I haven't heard? Has anyone whp applied on or after 18th Dec had approval yet?

I'm nervous about my application bc my wage slips were internet print outs on letter head and signed but not stamped. If your documents are rejected how soon do you usually hear once ref # has been allocated?

I really appreciate your help!

Hi Jack, I called today and they said mine is in the queue - still awaiting a caseworker to be assigned.

My CC was charged on Dec/21 and cleared the next day. The ref number was only lodged on the system on Dec/28. I called.

Hi Pam. I wish you best of luck too. Is your reference number 201XXX or 202XXX?

Thanks Pam. Mine's 202XXX so I guess that's why it's not assigned to anyone yet.

Hi Paramjit,
All the best.
my case is also similar to nnj10. my application is reached on 29th Dec, CC charged on 2nd Jan 07. still waiting for reference number.

I have one question .

I have to send some additional documents(Bank statements) .Earlier I sent only 9 month's bank statements . now I want to send 12 month's statements.

I can send these statements only when I receive reference number .

I am sending docs from India and by the time they reach UK , decision for my application would have taken place.

so I am planning to send these docs to one of my friend in UK . once I get reference number , he can forward my docs , stating my reference number .

Is it ok ? will HO will accept this kind of additional documents ?

Hi,

I spoke to HSMP team, and they said,
If You send additional docs. without ref. number then before it reaches the C.W. it might get lost in between.
So not taking any chance. Awaiting the Ref. No.

Paramjit,

Could you know from the HSMP that the additional document that you sent is received by them, and forwarded to the respective C.W. if assigned or those additional docs. attached to the Original Package?

Pls. let us know.

Paramjit,

What procedure you followed to ensure that your additional documents are attached to initial HSMP application?

If we just write down the Application Reference Number on the Envelop would that be enough or anything else?

Pls. share your experience.

Thanks

Already posted in another thread, but just follow this thread and post it again. I've just got my passport back, visa (LLTR) extended to Jan 2009 (from Jan 2007) under HSMP.
As this post's first author (as you may notice), share with you all my timeline:

Applied for HSMP on 4th Dec, approved on 7th Dec. Docs back on 9th

Applied for LTR (change from student to WP visa) on 12th Dec, then a problem with my credit card charging (all materials returned to me) and then my photos were missing by them - i re-sent the photos to them. Got approved on 2nd Jan. received Passport on 4th Jan, today.

that's it. many thanks for the forum and will keep contributing to it if possible.

This is a question for recent applicants from India.

Has anyone got HSMP approval after submitting Form 16 as Income Tax Return?

Hi deep_RP,

Wish your documents come with "APPROVAL LETTER"

Is TNT ready to ship the documents without the signature of the sender?
Did you pre-pay the charges?

Pls. share this information.

Hi NNJ10,
y-Axis, my agent has arranged for me. I would be paying for the courier once it reaches me here. HO is Ok with the arrangement. I had sent a letter to them stating that I would be doing so.

Thanks
Deepak
