Tier 1 - Dependant application doubts

Hi,
I am applying for my Tier 1 extension tomorrow. I have 2 dependants, Wife and child.
In my Child's application, need help for the below questions. Got this doubt when i read this forum

K7. Is the main applicant your sole surviving parent?
YES

K8. Does the main applicant have sole responsibility with your upbringing?
YES

Are my answers correct? Or Should i mention NO to mention my wife has also the respnosibility...Confused...Please help

Why don't you start by detailing your exact circumstances. You seem to be asking a bunch of complete strangers to make guesses about your personal life. Does anybody here know if your wife is living or dead or has no parental contact with your kids?

I have already mentioned in the post that i am applying for myself, wife and child. We are applying together.
