Hello Friends,

My visa is due expire soon in August 2012. I am currently on ICT short term staff and will go back india to apply for ICT long term staff. and my sponsor is A rated.

I and my wife are re-applying together from India.

in the latest guide it says

Does it mean that I don't have to produce an explicit maintenance letter for my wife if my sponsor has mentioned my maintenance on COS already?

You need to show £900 (for you) + £600(for your wife) for 3 months for UK Tier2 ICT long term visa.

If you had been in UK for more than one year then, only £600(for your wife) for 3 months would be suffcient.

Yes I and my wife are am living in UK since last August. in ICT short term VISA.

so it means I need to produce funds 600*3= 1800 GBP for my wife. is it?

You should been in UK for more than one year, then only £600 not £1800 (for your wife) for 3 months would be suffcient.

NOTE ALL- PLEASE LETS END THIS CONFUSION ON THE FORUM. WE ONLY MAINTAINED EQUIVALENT OF £600.00 IN MY WIFE ACCOUNT IN INDIA AS I HAVE BEEN IN UK FOR MORE THAN 12 MONTHS. I HAD NOT MAINTAINED ANY FUNDS AND THE VISA WAS APPROVED. I A WILL POST THIS ON SEVERAL OTHER POST SO THAT MAX PEOPLE CAN AVOID THIS CONFUSION.
