Criminal Convictions???

Criminal Convictions???

On the UK Visa application it asked if you have had any criminal convictions? I had a DUI about 15 years ago would that apply?

What was the punishment for that criminal offence? Please give details.

One day in jail with three month suppension and 5 years probation with fines. This was in 1991.

Have a look at this document, which is part of the instructions given to staff dealing with visa applications, and in particular read 26.5.

In terms of UK legislation, the conviction is most certain "spent".

Thanks, but on the application do I say No criminal convictions or yes and give details?
