The more appropriate visa category for her to enter the UK, woould be as your Tier 1 dependent. The reason being a visitor visa is for those who enter the UK for a short term period of less than 6 months but as your wife will be entering the UK to join you the chance of a visit visa application being approved are minimal (mainly due to the reason you will find it difficult to convince the UKBA that she intends to return to her home country after the visit). Tier 1 dependent application information can be found under: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... s/#header1PRadeep Itnal wrote:I am entering UK just 8 months before my visa gets expired, i have a further plan to extend it.
However i would like to call my wife after couple of months, after i enter in UK.
My question here is.
If i have to sponser her Visit i need to show bank statements, tenancy letter and 6 month payslips.
As i have to show 6 months payslips, i dont want my wife to wait for 6 months,to join me,as per my plan i want her to be with me after couple of months.
is there any way out? by which she can come over as a visitor/tourist and join me? Can she sponser her own? in that case what docs are needed?
As I attempted to explain in my previous response, the problem in her getting a visit visa is that she will not be able to meet one of the key criteria the ECO will look for. That is her ties to her home country and her intent to return at the end of the visit. The reason is because her primary tie will be with you her spouse, a Tier 1 resident in the UK. Note that it makes no difference whether you or another friend/family member sponsors her visit visa, because the same requirements will need to be met.PRadeep Itnal wrote:Or is it possible for some one else to sponsor her, like my friends and relatives, who are living in UK can sponsor her isn't it possible?
