Visa for new born baby

Helloo,

Me and my wife are blessed with baby boy recently. i am on Tier 1 (general) visa. i would like apply for my son's visa. can any one please let me know the details of following

1) type of application
2) Maintenance funds
3) required documents

Does he need to travel?

tx for the reply, he was born in uk , we are planningto travel, end of this year for couple of weeks.

you would to first apply for his passport ( in the indian embassy...if you are indian) and then apply for his dependent visa..Requirements being the same as for the dependant...

In. Case we dont need to travel... Can we defer for indian. Passport and dependent visa fee till we naturalise? S for eg..if we got a kid born now... Can we straight away register him asa. British citizen in 2014?

yes you can register your child as british citizen after you get your ILR...
