We are considering sending off both applications in one envelope (Residence Card for unmarried partner-EEA2 & Document Certifying Permanent Residence-EEA3 for the EU partner exercising treaty rights). We are considering doing this as the EU citizen's treaty documents would be required for both applications and if the EEA2 application were to take 6 or more months as it often appears to, it would just be a lengthy wait before applying for EEA3. In addition we are banking on the odd chance that perhaps if they did process the EEA3 application as soon as possible (as they tend to do), they might perhaps just as well process the EEA2 at the same time while they were at it (Wishful thinking???).
There is however the little dillema of which department to address the envelope to (EEA2 or EEA3) as this is specifically requested in the address (the line under/after Eurepean Applications)
Is this even possible? Any ideas? Has anyone done this before? Any thoughts are much appreciated.
Cheers!
