ILR(o) application Section 10 ( Fingerprints)

Post by david1982 » Sun Aug 12, 2012 4:31 am

Hello,

My Tier-1 ( General ) was issued on 20 November, 2009. I was not asked to do any Biometrics and no Fingerprint was taken. ( May be, on that time these were not required for Tier-1 General ).

Then, on 15 January, 2011, at Heathrow arrival counter, my fingerprints and photo were taken.( It was my first travel outside UK since I got Tier-1 General).

Now I am applying for ILR ( Long Residency ) - Student + PSW + Tier1 General.

I am really confused about the Section 10 of the ILR(0) application form.

7. Have you had your fingerprints taken as part of a previous United Kingdom immigration application made in the United Kingdom or Abroad
yes-
No -
8. Give details when your fingerprints were taken
9. Give details where your fingerprints were taken, including town or city or country.

Could somebody suggest me about the above questions.

Kind Regards,
David

Well I think the question is that no finger prints taken for application but taken at the airport so what should the answer be?

Yes. This is the confusion. I did not give fingerprints as part of any application. But it was taken at heathrow.

I would be really greateful, if anybody shed some light on this issue.

Kind Regards,
David

The answer is in the question.

Did you make an application at heathrow?

Immigrants should get reward for reading questions that do not exist.

Finger prints that were taken at port of Entry( Airport) are not Consider as biometric,

Biometric is your Finger Scan +Eyes scan + Personal Details

At Airport you only give your Finger scan but not Eyescan.

Should we have a "report this person" button on this forum?
