Assalaamu Alaikum. My wife was recently granted her spouse visa. She applied in Lahore on 10th April 2012 and received a text message to collect her passport on 1st August 2012. My wife arrived in the UK on Tuesday. I would just like to wish everyone who are still waiting for their visas the best of luck. Please keep faith in Allah. Insha'ALLAH all of you will hear back soon with good news.

Someone has been granted a visa on the 7/8/12 and they applied in Islamabad on the 12/4/2012. Thats whats on the time line.

Sallamz all I really really don't know what's taking so long !! I got in contact with the visa application centre after 16 weeks of waiting and they gave this reply

from embassy you will be informed. Meanwhile, kindly keep monitoring the

Am not sure what they r doing with the march applications!!.. Also on the ukba website it says under news and update that they r having to delay desisions on settelement visas becos there so many !!..
All we can do is make Dua in these blessed nights and days of Ramadan an pray to Allah ...

Theres a Hadith to the nearest meaning in which the beloved of Allah s.a.w says 'when two people desire the same thing and they both make Dua for each other then even the angles say ameen to that Dua' so brothers and sister in Islam please make Dua for all of us as well ur selfs inshallah..
Allah will defo not keep the husband n wife separate .. Just have full hope in Allah.. Also Allah says in the quraan (to the nearest meaning) ' they plan and Allah plans and Allah is the best of planners'

I spoke with one of my friends just 2 days ago.. He told me he applied in April of this year.. That's 1 month after me.. His wife got a text messege to collect her documents about 1 week ago !!... He waiting only 3 and half months ... Am just abit worried about march applications!!!!!! But inshallah just leave it to Allah the all mighty .. Indeed Allah test those who he loves !!... Just wait n have sabar .. Make Dua in this blessed last 10 days..

I have a friend who applied on 4/04/2012 and the visa was granted. Everyone who has not yet received any news should still count it as a blessing as early news usually means your documents were incorrect. The fact that they are still processing it means your documents are fine Alhamdulillah and it just depends on your credibility. Although we are having to wait Masha'Allah i have been hearing mostly good news all round so it means they are fair in granting the visa - they're just taking their sweet time lol. Doing dua for everyone. Thank you for setting up this forum as it is a comforting indicator on how much longer we have to wait. JazakhAllah khair

Sabootio_786 what do u mean by hearing good news??.. What only news I it was that they had to delay all desisions bcos of significant number of application for settlement.. Also the only news that am getting is 'application under process' .....

Also just a quick question .. When do we start to calculate the days??. Is it when we submit the application at the visa app centre or when it's under process at Bhc ??...

Ok let me make this clear once again for all you guys. You ask the same questions every single day without actually reading previous posts.

There are two main decision making posts for Pakistani applicants. Based on statistics, the majority of Pakistani applications are handled in Abu Dhabi as there are more resources available to work on applications. Some are now processed in Islamabad.

It is evident, that they have sent the applications in batches to Abu Dhabi and will return them in batches back to Pakistan. So there is little to argue about or worry about, because you will all (that's the March bunch) receive news at the same time to collect. It doesn't mean you will all get VISAs or you will all get refusals, it quite simply means, you'll get your answers at the same time.

It has happened before and IT WILL happen again. So stop fussing about it and technically speaking, if they haven't gone over 24 weeks, then none of you should be complaining. They did state and continue to state, you have 24 weeks to get a response, but they try to respond within 3 months. So 24 weeks, how many of you have gone past 24 weeks? Zero.

Thankz for ur post king2be ... Makes me feel abit more better !!... I didnt realise that they get processed in Abu Dabai... Thorght it was all done in Pakistan... Also even on the ukba website where it says guidance for processing time it says ' select your Bhc' and all they have listed is Pakistan Karachi, Pakistan Islamabad, Pakistan Lahore and Pakistan mirpur ... N the guidance is for these only... That is the thing that was confusing but I think ur right.. They probs gone as a bunch to Abu Dabai and will come back as a bunch Thankz for ur post ... Just hope they come back soon !!!!...
