Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Switch in-country

Hi folks

I would like to know if there is anybody in the forum who has switched from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General under the below category -

1. Obtained Tier 2 ICT prior to April 2010 and extended Tier 2 ICT after April 2011 and then applied for a switch to Tier 2 General
OR
2. Obtained Tier 2 ICT prior to April 2011 under Established Staff category and extended Tier 2 ICT after April 2011 and then applied for a switch to Tier 2 General

There is too much confusion with the rules and I see that a member's Tier 2 Gen visa was refused though he entered the country in 2009 with Tier 2 ICT since he extended his ICT after April 2011

Both 1 and 2 are allowed subject to satisfying all the other requirements. What exactly is your question?

Thank you for your reply.
I just wanted to know if there was somebody who has done such a switch as I fall under category 2
I read a post where a candidate's Tier 2 General visa was refused citing he had extended his ICT after April 2011
