Visa expired this Sunday. Application delivered on Monday.

Hi

Would really appreciate some advise on this. I have applied for an extension on my current student visa.

Came to realize that my visa was expiring on the 12th of Aug, not the 22nd as I had previously thought. I was out of town at that point of time. Came back the same day leaving everything to send off my passport and forms etc. I already had the money in the bank for 28 days by then and also my new CAS number.

Sent everything off via Special Delivery on the 10th (even opted for Saturday Delivery paying extra).

However, since the UKBA was closed on Sat and Sun, delivery wasn't possible and it was delivered yesterday, on the 13th.

Is this going to be an issue ? I know I should have been more careful etc, but I sent everything off two days before my visa expired and the only reason it couldn't be delivered was because of the weekend.

Thanks for your input.
