My visa is going to expire on 23rd August 2012. I got PEO appointment on 23rd August 2012 in Solihull. Is it okay to have appointment on last day of expiral of visa?

should be ok as long as they dont return your application as invalid, all other cases where if they want to do further checks or if they refuse with right to appeal should be fine

I think application is valid. What could be the reason for invalid application.

Some examples of where an application can be returned as invalid are: Payment declined, Applicants photo's are invalid, Mandatory information missing in application etc...
