Referee - State:How you know the applicant?

Post by samar0001 » Thu Jul 19, 2012 1:37 pm

I know a Referee who works as a civil servant, lives locally and knows me for more than 3 years

In the section: How you know the applicant - He wants to write the below lines

' I know him for more than three years as a friend, and he is a good character person'.

Is that ok?

If your friend from Sainsburys has a British passport and is aged 25 years or over, then yes, he or she is a qualified referee. Just make sure that both your referees meet all other qualification requirements as enumerated in the guide

None, you may have the form signed anytime before you submit it to HO

I was told on this forum that date of signature should not be older than six months

He said he's having tqhe referee page signed on August 20 when he's applying on September 10. So prior to September 10, his form may be signed anytime.
