Extension: Salary confirmation letter

Post by gopal_yendluri » Fri Aug 17, 2012 10:11 am

Dear Friends,

I am employed and going to attend PEO appointment on 29th August.

I got following letter and payslip from my company which was signed.

But the problems are

1. My company doesn't have stamp (they dont use stamp). Does it create an issue for my extension?

2. I am not sure whether the payslip above is formal payslip or not. So i am unable to decide whether do i need get stamp on it or not.

3. there are three adjustments in my payslips ( you can find them in the salary confirmation letter). so net amount in the payslips ( 3 months) doesn't match with salary credited. So my company mentioned those adjustments in the salary confirmation letter. Do i need to get separate letter explaining those adjustments.

Can you please advise me on this.

Thanks,
Gopal

This falls under para 114(iii) in the guidance.

Thanks for your response..

Actually i read the guidance. that is the reason i asked letter from employer.

Just for peace of mind,

For two evidences, 1: letter from employer 2: bank statements are sufficient?
so I dont need payslips is that correct?

My company doesn't have stamp is that common in UK companies?

Can you also please confirm the employer letter format..

Ans : Yes, I just did mine with these 2 set of doc. if you have letter from employer on the letter headed stationary, you may not need the payslips. I'd say carry them until asked for if going for PEO.

Ans : No worries, Even mine did not bear any stamp

Ans : Your format looks good. You may check with chetan's format (google it)
