Bankers Draft payable to whom?

The T1 guidance says:

"You must make the cheque or postal order payable to ‘Home Office’ and cross the cheque or postal order A/C Payee only"

but nothing about bankers draft.

Is it safe to assume bankers draft should be made payable to 'Home Office' ?

Can't get through to UK BA customer care.

HO considers cheque & draft as the same & should be payable to "Home Office", I did the same & write your name, DOB & nationality on the back (I forgot to do that) & put banks account number & sort code on the form

Do we need to cross the banker's draft A/C Payee only? If yes, how do we cross it, I have never done that before? Thanks,

generally these have A/C payee cross printed on them if the bank that you are using does not do it by default then ask them to cross them while you will request for the draft.
