Statement of earning

Post by kpk1234 » Sun Aug 19, 2012 2:39 pm

Do the statement of earning be addressed as to whom so ever it may concern or is it fine it it was addressed to employee?

Because my company will only issue it addressing it to employee and the payslips i have are in A4 format and not using IRIS software. although the A4 format payslip have all my details including company name , tax code etc.

Your inputs are much appreciated

Thanks in advance!!

I am surprised that a senior member doesn't know what "statement of earning" could be?

mate, i know what a statement of earning could be, its just a twisted name for something you dont really need if you have payslips which are more than enough.

reduce the clutter or the application might be refused if there is a slightest discrepancy between the statement & payslips

why to send more documents than required ?

I agree with Manka10. I have no idea why people clutter their applications with unnecessary and duplicated information that ends up causing more harm than good and sometimes confuses the case worker.

Simply supply all the mandatory documents you need to obtain the visa.

Kind Regards

I have payslips which are in a4 format and statement of earning is one of the proof UKBA accepts according to their policy guidance. I am not 100% sure if UKBA accepts payslips which are in A4 format unlike the standard payslips which have perforated edges.

statement of earning and payslips are one and the same documents with duplicate info from the same source, you dont need to send both, if the payslip is stamped & signed by the company then that should be fine no matter the format as long as it contains all the relevant details

Are these printouts of the electronic payslips you receive from your employer? If so then they will need to be certified by the employer with their stamp and signature.

I mean these are not in the format where we tear of the edges. I receive them in A 4 format sealed in envelope with company name on the back of A4 sheet and other details on the front including company's trading name. Also my company gave me a letter addressed to mean what i have earned in the last one year.

If you already have a employer letter with your 12 months pay breakdown as explained in the application guidance, then just submit that. You won't need the pay slips then, as their is no point/benefit in submitting 2 pieces of evidence from the same source. Don't over complicate this unnecessarily.
