Sponsorship license - sending in extra documents later?

My company applied for their sponsorship license in mid-May, and of course we haven't heard anything from them yet. I think we may have forgotten to send our latest VAT return, which is supposed to go along with the certificate of VAT registration. I think we might have sent just the VAT registration. If they still haven't touched our application (which might be the case), can we send in the VAT return now? If not and if we get denied because we didn't include it, can we just reapply for the sponsorship license again?

Never mind -- I found online that it says you can, provided they receive them before making a decision.

if you check in documents it say
''Certificate of VAT registration; and/or
latest VAT return confirming VAT registration number if turnover in
excess of £64,000.'' not mentioned that you have to send them together

For Group 5, it just says "and," unfortunately. No "or." Where did you see "and/or"?

But it is the one they link to, isn't it? I had saved a version of Appendix A and it just says "and." This is truly confusing. I wonder which one is correct.

I have also send my application with only VAT registration so i hope i am right as well
